GMA Hungry for Power
When GMA filed her COC for Congresswoman of the 2nd district of pampanga, only one thing came into my mind.. That SHE IS REALLY HUNGRY for POWER... Imagine, you already have been to the highest post of the land and you would seek a "lower position" so to speak? Nobody has the monopoly of serving the people... She just should have let her term ended. The reason she will run for Congress is that her cohorts have a plan to change the form of government from presidential to parliamentary... then, she will be elected as PM. so that they will not be able to file a case against her... look at what's happening to our country?we are loosing public servants... GMA is very much an inch a "TRAPO" like all the rest...

GMA Hungry for Power :: Comments
Since the time of Pontius Pilate, the corruption and hunger for power already exist, even in the time of King Leonidas. These acts in politics were already part of the game where every politicians was being forced to play in order to survive. GMA's decision to run for congress shows that despite of what she somehow accomplished as a president, she thinks that those were not enough to prove herself. As an economist and a UP teacher, her thinks that her studies and differentials are the key for this country's growth and development.
Yes, They're too blind and egocentric. Truly, They hear our grievances. Do they Listen? But who are we to blame them. we are the ones who put them on this stature. Those Trapos can't seat on the Government's highest positions without winning a local election.
We should blame ourselves and not those politicians. if we all elect good people in just one election at the same time, i think we can change the norms in politics. The problem-- Do we have the same way of thought? Are we united? Do we embrace one political principle in all issues?
Stop Grieving! Act! Do good and share the goodness to everyone. This is the time to incorporate humanity, morality, christianity to politics, and we need to start it by changing ourselves.

wow... allan, ikaw ba yan? lumalabas pag ka pol sci major mo ah..... bro, i agree with you, the problem with philippine politics is that electing a candidate is not based on track record and accomplishments but on popularity alone. we really need a moral regeneration so that our country would regain its lost glory,...
nice post brothers..
dont you think that there is really something terribly wrong with our electoral process and that it really needs to be changed? however, the change that we all long for is now being initiated by the same people who have crippled the citizenry for generations now.
are we stuck in a vicious cycle of political damnation in this country? bata pa ako, naririnig ko na yang pagbabago na yan. ngayong may anak na ako, ganyan pa din ang sitwasyon natin.. tsk, tsk

With all due respects sesame, i think the process should not be changed.. but it more of a "change in men", and not a "change of men" that is needed. kaya nga dapat talaga ay maging mapanuri tayo sa kung sino man ang ating iluluklok sa kapangyarihan.
